You are beautiful no matter what you look like. True beauty comes from your radiant heart on the inside that you let shine outwards. Beauty is in being so totally comfortable in your skin and comfortable with who you are. Confidence is sexy. In this day and age however, we have become confused with what beauty is and attached to how we “should” look. The media and magazines have quite an impact on how we think we should look. However we are faced with a choice…either give in to what “they” say regarding how we should look or look deep within to find the self-acceptance just waiting for us to find.
You can build self-esteem no matter what you look like. But it is a decision you have to make. Once you start being true to who you are, the negative self talk will begin to diminish and be replaced by self-love.
People will treat you the way you treat yourself, so treat yourself with love, kindness and gentleness always. If you feel empty on the inside despite the exterior beauty you have created or feel you lack then I encourage you to talk to us. We have gone through this journey of self-hate also and have successfully come out on the other side and I must share with you…it’s a relief being here!
